Anura is a new generation of a pocket-able drone which just fits in your pocket and when you have an urge to fly it you can do it by simply unfolding quad rotors of the drone like an army swiss knife.Drone is a size of an iphone6 and it fits quit easily in any pocket. Anura is also quit cheap considering other drones which are available in the market like the parrot AR drones which will cost you around 500 US dollars. Cost of Anura is 200 dollars which will be available through a kickstarter campaign, which will start in mid October.
This little drone do not need any of the dedicated controller to control it, you can do it simply by your smart phone. The drone is compatible with any of the IOS and android devices over wifi and along with that it has a mico-camera that provide you a live feed on your smart phone and it can click pictures as well.Anura has a range of about 80ft (25m) with a flight time of around 10 minutes per charge, while top speed is claimed to be 25 mph (40 km/h). The team of anura are also hoping to incoporate saome aded flight functionality if the funding of the drones reaches there goal, following are flight functionality which will be added, such as phone tracking, auto takeoff, auto landing and a return home function. In my opinion this quadcopter drones is for those people who love to fly rc toys or drones and it will be a good add-on to there collection.
